I've come to the conclusion that Tiff and I must have walked at least 10 miles today all over Manhattan. There's my exercises for the month. Other than new smells, sights, and sounds, I think the subway can be the most intimidating part to new NYC visitors. The mass amounts of people squeezed into such a tight space, the hot, horrid, pungent smells clawing from beneath the streets and sewer grates can definitely scare somebody away from venturing down the hole. But it was no match for us! I having ridden the metro before here in NYC, and in europe, so I am just a little bit more comfortable with the whole strange mass transit idea that fails to have any logic to us small town texas folk. Anyway, long story short, NYC rules and I can't wait to move here. K-bye.
